Foo Fighters Troll Fans With Break-Up Video (Featuring Nick Lachey As The New Dave Grohl)

Everlong? Not so much.

That's what many thought about the future of Foo Fighters, following Dave Grohl's solo performance at Sunday's Oscars.

Though the band have long denied all break-up rumours, they were this week moved to publish a video to their Facebook page mocking the persistent rumblings of a Grohl solo record.

In the following clip, Grohl - who last year powered through a broken leg injury to continue touring - discusses his post-Foo future, while his bandmates consider a replacement.

Who better than former Newlyweds star Nick Lachey?

This clip has strong coarse language as well as footage of Dave Grohl almost rapping, and as such should only be watched by viewers over the age of 15.

Earlier in the year, drummer Taylor Hawkins joked about the band going on indefinite hiatus (or, as he called it, “ihateus”).

The New York Post more recently reported that Dave Grohl was looking to go solo, and that Taylor was “p****d” about it.

We guess not?
