Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Fell Off A Stage, Broke His Leg, And Kept On Rocking

Never accuse Dave Grohl of not rocking hard enough.

Over the weekend, the Foo Fighters frontman fell off the stage during a show in Gothenburg, Sweden, but proceeded to play on with a busted leg.

Falling off a stage is par for the course for pretty much every entertainer in history – lest we forget, Iggy – though Grohl genuinely suffered a nasty injury from the stumble, as the below Tweet reveals. Learn to fly, he did not.

A video (with some coarse language, as you'd expect) from the show features the former Nirvana drummer telling the crowd, “Now listen, I think I just broke my leg,” as medics attend to his injury.

“Right now, I’m going to go to hospital, I’m going to fix my leg, then I’m going to come back and we’re going to play for you again.”

While he went to get an x-ray – which confirmed the nasty break – the rest of the band performed covers for the patient audience.

But sure enough, Grohl returned and continued playing, with his leg bandaged and elevated. Imgur provided the inspiring photo above.
