Five Exercise Gadgets to Help You Reach Your Fitness Goals

Hack your fitness the tech way.
Put a finger down if you suck at exercise. Yeah, we thought so. Don’t worry, our finger went down too.
Problem is, when you’re juggling study, family and a social life, throwing a good fitness routine into that mix is pretty overwhelming (regardless of how good working out is for your mental and physical well-being).
Allow us to help you out then. See there’s actually a heap of tech created to motivate you to be your best self, inside and out.
So, here’s five exercise gadgets to help you reach your fitness goals.

1. Apple Watch.
Sure, the Apple Watch has a range of different uses like messaging and phone calls, but it also has a great focus on exercise.
The Workout app on the Apple Watch is what you’ll be using when getting fit. From running and cycling to swimming, yoga and rowing, the Apple Watch can measure a big range of different workouts.
One of the best features included in the Apple Watch is the Activity app. It measures your daily movement via three rings: the move ring, exercise ring, and stand ring. Complete each ring for the day and you’re gonna be fit in no time.
Only downside is Apple Watches don’t come cheap, with their base model costing $299.

2. Fitbit Fitness Tracker.
If you’re looking for something more affordable then we recommend a Fitbit Charge 4.
Starting at $179 the Charge 4 is designed specifically for exercise, measuring your daily activity as well as exercise tracking, 24/7 heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and nutrition tracking.
With all the features of the Apple Watch’s Workout app at a fraction of the price, it’s a no brainer if you’re looking for results and no bells and whistles.
3. Wireless earbuds.
No workout is complete without some slappin’ beats to keep a bounce in your step.
When considering price, sound quality and overall style we can’t look past the PowerBeats wireless earphones. They’ve got 15 hours of listening time, and adjustable secure-fit ear hooks to stop them flying out if you’re going hard. Plus, they’re water-resistant and compatible with iOS and Android.
They come in a range of different colours and prices start as low as $105.
The PowerBeats can still be on the pricey side of things, so if you're looking for a bargain, the Kogan T3 Pro is going for a steal right now at $42.99.

4. Nadi X Smart Yoga Pant.
Time for the James Bond level of wearable tech for fitness with the Nadi X smart yoga pants. Created by Wearable X, the smart yoga pants have integrated sensors and vibrations that help you improve your yoga through posture monitoring and vibrational guidance.
The pants have a detachable pulse that you charge quickly with a USB cable. Once charged, you clip the pulse into the pants, set your vibration strength and start your yoga session.

5. Wyze Scale.
Gone are the scales of old that just tell you your weight. With the Wyze Scale you can measure your body fat percentage, heart rate, BMI, muscle mass, protein level and body water percentage. That’s not even the full list, I just got sick of writing.
The Wyze Scale also syncs with Apple Health, Google Fit and FitBit so you can track your progress all on your phone.

There you go, five of the best exercise gadgets to look into if you’re hoping to smash out those fitness goals.
