Fergie’s Back And She’s Brought Kim K (And Some ‘90s Slang) With Her In “M.I.L.F. $”

If you’ve been wondering what exactly Fergie, of the Black Eyed Peas, was up to, wonder no longer.
Stacy Ferguson has debuted a brand new song ahead of her upcoming solo album Double Duchess (her first since 2006’s The Duchess).
“M.I.L.F. $”, pronounced “MILF Money”, even comes with a scandalising new video, co-starring fellow “MILFs” Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Ciara, Alessandra Ambrosio, Devon Aoki and Gemma Ward. Oh, and MILF stands for “Mums I’d Like To Follow” now, so get your mind out of the gutter. (So what if a bunch of them spend the video bathing in milk?)
Check it out below (but mind the mild coarse language).
Fergie hasn’t exactly used her hiatus to reinvent the musical wheel, and “M.I.L.F. $” will sound familiar to anyone who listened to “My Humps”, “Fergalicious” and “London Bridge” on loop back in the 2000s. (We are all guilty of this.)
It’s an old school sound, but hey, who are we to begrudge Fergie for bringing it back? Here’s hoping the single fares better than her first attempt at a return: 2014’s “L.A. Love (la la)”, which boasts 71 million YouTube views but barely managed to crack the U.S. charts.
If only she’d recruited the internet-breaking Kim K back then…
