The Funniest Letterboxd Reviews We Can’t Stop Laughing At

Funny, chaotic and everything in between.

In 2026, if you have a somewhat put-together thought about a movie, TV show or pop culture moment, is it even valid if you have not recorded it somewhere for the entire world to see?

Enter: Letterboxd. The app your film-obsessed friend definitely has linked in their IG bio.

If you’ve never heard of Letterboxd before, it’s the social media network for film lovers.

It’s a platform where you can make lists of your favourite films, leave reviews and add friends.

With this freedom comes the opportunity to leave iconic bits of criticism or praise. While well-developed and analytical reviews have their place, there’s nothing like a funny review to inspire you to watch a movie or avoid it at all costs.

And while we love an analytical take, we’re here for the funny ones. Let’s unpack some of our favourites.

Our favourite reviews.

Project Hail Mary

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come

Pretty Lethal

Hannah Montana 20^th Anniversary Special

Jurassic World Rebirth

F1

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

Wicked

Time Cut

The Black Phone

Paddington

My Policeman

Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie

Ratatouille

Shrek

So, there you have it.

These are just 15 of the many hilarious reviews we have seen on Letterboxd. If you’re unsure about a movie, the honest commentary is sure to give you a bit of insight.

But remember, sometimes the best part is finding out for yourself, so don’t let reviews stop you from watching a movie and developing your own opinion! 😉
