Summer Is Sorted ‘Cos “Far Cry 6” Budgy Smugglers Are Now a Thing

The partnership nobody asked for.

Get ready to turn heads at the beach for all the right reasons this summer ‘cos Ubisoft Australia and Budgy Smuggler today announced a collab that brings the upcoming Far Cry 6 game to life.

That’s right, we’re talking Far Cry 6 inspired swimwear to celebrate the game’s release on 7 October.

The new collection includes two swimwear styles; the infamous ‘Smugglers’ for men and the ‘Smugglettes’ for women, both available in two different but adorable styles based on the game’s animal companions.

First up is the Chorizo Aqua Blue pair of bathers which features Chorizo—the in-game dachshund companion who makes for a fantastic and adorable sidekick—splashed over a background representing the tropical ocean and sky of Yara. Available in both Smuggler and Smugglette.

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, then maybe the Chicharron Solar Yellow is the style for you. Inspired by the “golden glow of tropical sunsets and the burning heart of Yara’s revolution”, this pair of togs features Chicharron, Yara’s one and only punk rooster. Available in both Smuggler and Smugglette.

Honestly, out of the two, I just can’t go past the cuteness of Chorizo. I demand they release a boardies pair ‘cos I wouldn’t be caught dead in men's Smugglers (that might change when I turn 60 though).

If you want to get your hands on a pair or two, you can purchase the limited-edition swimmers right here. Just be prepared to part with your hard-earned money ‘cos the men's Smugglers will cost you $60 while the women's Smugglettes will set you back a whopping $90.

Can you really put a price on adorable though?

Far Cry 6 drops in stores Australia wide on 7 October this year. Set on the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, players take control of Dani Rojas in a fight against the island’s fascist dictator Anton Castillo.
