Maybe that person is you. No hate here, we love your passion and want to help by feeding your sports addiction with some epic podcast recommendations.

The hardest part about sports podcasts is finding the right one to listen to—there’s just way too many.

Luckily for you, we’ve done the hard yards and created a list of the best sports podcasts to feast your ears on.

Without further ado, here are the eight best podcasts sports lovers should listen to.

1. Football Weekly by The Guardian

Let’s kick things off with a podcast for the football fans out there (that’s soccer for all you Aussies and Americans).

Football Weekly is a fantastic podcast for the average fan looking for good insight into the game, sprinkled with some good ol’ British bants.

Hosts Max Rushden and Barry Glendening break down everything happening in the game, as well as interviewing guests from around Europe to tackle the latest news from Spain, France, Germany and more.

If you’re soccer mad, you’d be mad not to listen to it.

This one's available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

2. AFL Exchange by AFL

It’s time for some footy down under with AFL Exchange. This weekly podcast gives footy fans an entertaining view on the latest AFL news with in-depth analysis, humour and insight into upcoming games to keep you up to date on everything AFL.

Hosted by Cal Twomey, Riley Beveridge and Mitch Cleary, these guys are the real deal and well worth your time.

You can listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

3. All the Smoke by The Black Effect and iHeartRadio

Presented by SHOWTIME Basketball, All the Smoke is the perfect podcast for all things basketball.

Former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson host the show, which makes it the clear favourite among former player-hosted podcasts. Their electric enthusiasm for the game makes the two-hour episodes fly by (it also helps that they’re damn funny).

They know what they’re talking about too, covering topics from basketball, culture, social justice, politics, music and more with an authentic and unfiltered view.

Take a listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

4. F1: Beyond the Grid by Formula 1

F1: Beyond the Grid is the best podcast for Formula 1 lovers around the world. Each week Tom Clarkson offers up fresh deets and amazing stories from the travelling F1 circus. When he’s not telling stories, he’s hearing other people share theirs with a selection of great interviews from former world champions like Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

Seriously, have a listen and you’ll see why F1 is one of the most-watched sports on Earth.

Catch this one on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

5. Bloke in a Bar by Denan Kemp

Former NRL player Denan Kemp is the creator and host behind Bloke in a Bar, and to be honest, the podcast is as simple as the title.

Kemp, along with a raft of former players and pundits, break down NRL with their signature larrikin attitude.

This is a must listen for anyone crazy about their rugby.

Available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

6. The Steve Austin Show by PodcastOne

Time to offer up some of the more unconventional podcasts out there.

Gimme a “hell yeah” if you remember pro-wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin? It may have taken a while after retirement, but the Texas Rattlesnake found his footing in his very own podcast.

This is definitely a podcast for wrestling fans as Austin takes you back in time with tales from the Attitude Era of WWE, and invites hall-of-famers like Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker on to break character and give you insight into what these larger-than-life characters are really like.

It might not be for everyone, but if you like wrestling, you’ll love The Steve Austin Show.

This one is available on Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.

7. Sports Wars by Wondery

From the people who brought you Business Wars comes Sports Wars: an immersive, courtside look into some of the greatest sporting rivalries of the last century.

Such episodes include the battle between tennis sisters Venus and Serena Williams, Kobe vs. Shaq, and the infamous match-up between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Though it may focus on American sports, host Dan Rubenstein does a super job at giving you the real story behind the headlines.

Available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

8. Crime in Sports by James Pietragallo and Jimmie Whisman

Finally, if you don’t care which sport it is and just want a laugh, Crime in Sports could be perfect for you.

Comedians James Pietragallo and Jimmie Whisman join forces to shine the spotlight on athletes who have come off second best against the law.

It’s unmerciful, hilarious, and come on, who doesn’t like true crime?

You can listen to this one on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

There you have it, all the best sports podcasts in the one place.

That should keep you busy for a while.
