Drake Is Producing a TV Show for Zendaya That Sounds Nothing Like "KC Undercover", Sadly

Two of your faves, together at last.

For those who aren’t actively watching Disney Channel all day, every day, you may better know Zendaya as owner of an essential Instagram account and co-star in the new Spider-Man franchise.

But among those really in the know, she’s mostly the star of Disney’s K.C. Undercover, in which she plays a teenage genius who gets recruited by her undercover parents to work as a superspy.

Well, according to Variety, she’s now teaming up with Drake (yes, that Drake) for Euphoria, a new TV show about high schoolers who "navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship".

Our thoughts exactly.

Euphoria is a remake of an Israeli show, and it will also star Maude Apatow, Brian "Astro" Bradley and Angus Cloud.

Drake, sadly, won’t be rehashing his acting skills, honed on Degrassi: The Next Generation and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

Instead, he will serve as producer alongside OVO Sound’s Future the Prince.

We guess, however, that Euphoria will feature a soundtrack jam-packed with Drizzy’s spiteful slowjams, as well as those from the rest of the OVO Sound roster.

And if the above GIF of Zendaya indicates anything, it’s that Euphoria will capture Drake’s key aesthetic of being terribly sad at parties. This was basically the plot of that Atlanta episode where they hang out at his house!

There’s no release date for the show as yet, but it’ll air on HBO in the States, so keep your eyes peeled for any Aussie announcements.
