Don’t Ask Why, But the Hottest, Grossest New Trend Is “Exploding Pimple Nails”

You either get fashion, or you don’t, so if you can’t see the appeal of having manicured nails that spew pus, that’s on you.

YouTube vlogger Natasha Lee—who has her very gross fingers on the pulse of what’s hot—has shared a video showing how you too can make your fingers look as if they are riddled with zits.

Her previous achievement was ‘Fidget Spinner’ nails, so you know she’s good.

Of course, you don’t need to transplant actual pimples onto your nails to achieve the desired effect. Instead, you start with a base of nude polish before adding fake zits with clear nail-strengthening gel. A few more layers of colour later, you add a bulging glob of hand cream for popping.

There’s a bit more to it, of course. Natasha says the whole process would take 40 to 50 minutes for someone with a medium skill level. But you can see her finish the job in just 10, because she's one hell of a make-up artist.
