Marvel, Star Wars and more.

Every year, Disney fans descend on the D23 Disney Showcase, while fans everywhere await new announcements and trailers for their favourite franchises.

Disney announced a huge slate of stuff to look forward to in the next few months, including new Marvel projects, new Star Wars series and more.

A massive Marvel rollout.

Disney delivered on some huge promises for the Marvel Cinematic Universe over the weekend – the big news was the trailer release for Secret Invasion.

Secret Invasion is an upcoming Marvel series set to follow fan-favourite Nick Fury as he battles political intrigue, trust issues, and an unseen alien invasion.

Disney also announced Marvel’s first foray into horror, with the trailer for Werewolf By Night, a Halloween special that reads like a silver-age horror flick.

Those were the two big announcements for the public, but behind closed doors.

Marvel showed lucky fans new details of upcoming projects like Thunderbolts, Loki season two, Daredevil: Born Again, and this year’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, just to name a few.

Star Wars fans rejoice.

There was some huge news for Star Wars fans on Sunday, with the release of the highly anticipated trailer for The Mandalorian season 3.

The trailer sees the Mandalorian and Grogu (Baby Yoda) reunited, alongside some huge action with other Mandalorians, Carl Weathers and more.

We also got a trailer for the Rogue One spinoff, Andor, which is set to follow rebel spy Cassian Andor in the early years of the Rebellion.

Not wanting to disappoint, we also got a third trailer, this time for the animated series, Tales of The Jedi, six original short stories that focus on fan-favourite characters like Ahsoka, Qui-Gon Jinn and Count Dooku.

Fans at the expo also got sneak-peeks and extra details of other projects like Ahsoka and The Bad Batch season two.

Everything else.

Aside from the big franchises, Disney also shared some news on their growing slate of sequels, reboots and brand-new content.

That included updates on Indiana Jones 5, Willow, Avatar: The Way Of Water, plus much much more.

Well, that wraps up another big year for Disney and all it’s associated studios, and wow, there’s a lot to look forward to.
