Chrome Will Now Let You Sickos Open Way Too Many Tabs In Your Browser

Who knows what darkness lies in the heart of man?

Well, Google does, and that’s presumably why they’re now going to help its most depraved users of their Chrome browser open as many damn tabs as they like.

Those collected sickos of the internet (with no regard for orderly internet browsing and sensible tab-opening) open up page after page for future reading in a false promise to themselves. They were previously punished for this behaviour by Chrome reducing the size of each new tab until you could no longer tell which was which, increasing your chance of accidentally hitting ‘X’ and closing one.

But thanks to a new update of the browser released today, Chrome will let you hover over your teensy tabs and it will then show you what that particular page holds. Voila.

I sincerely hope they’re using this feature to Mindhunt users who take advantage. (What am I talking about? It’s Google: of course they’re Mindhunting their users.)

To see it in effect, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Chrome (click the three dots in the top right hand corner of your browser) and refresh. You can also turn the feature on and off by entering "chrome://flags/#tab-hover-cards" into your browser.

You can also basically mark this date down as the point at which society collapsed, for order was no longer appreciated.
