Chrissy Teigen's "Hot Ones" Interview Resulted in a Hospital Visit

Chrissy Teigen couldn't quite handle the spice.

Your favourite mum on the internet, Chrissy Teigen, has admitted she had to make a trip to the hospital following one spicy interview.

The spicy interview in question was none other than Hot Ones, a web series that challenges celebrities to an interview while they eat ten chicken wings, which progress in spiciness.

The hotness of the sauces is measured by the Scoville scale. For reference, a capsicum is usually less than 100 on the scale and a jalapeño ranges between 3,500 and 8,000.

Chrissy starts out with a relatively mild number on the scale at 1,800 but finishes on the granddaddy of hot sauces, The Last Dab, which sits at more than two million Scoville units.

So, yeah, you could say things get pretty heated.

Chrissy later took to Twitter to let everyone know that she had to go to the throat doctor, that her tongue had ripped and that she also needed some medication to stop her eyebrows from twitching.
