Chloë Grace Moretz Speaks Out Against Squads, Is Maybe Feuding With Taylor Swift Now

Chloë Grace Moretz, having already incurred the wrath of Kim Kardashian, is now speaking truth to power by publicly denouncing Taylor Swift’s #squad.

Well, kinda.

In an interview with Complex, Moretz - set to star, fittingly, in Bad Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising - took a brave stance against squads in general.

“They appropriate exclusivity,” the Kick-Ass star said, adding with presumed exasperation, “They’re cliques!”

The sleuths at Complex noted that Moretz is pals with Instaqueen Selena Gomez, who is of course a member of Taylor Swift’s own world-conquering squad.

When asked if she knew Swizzle, Moretz answered in the affirmative.

Complex held her feet to the fire, asking if she had indeed been invited by Tay Tay to join her collective.

“Yes,” she answered, without adding anything further. Complex read her body language as “an urge to unleash” and then offered her sanctuary, with journo Andrew Gruttadaro saying, “You can talk to me about these things, you know.”

“You know I can’t!” Moretz replied, with a reported laugh.

So, this all sounds terrifying. How far do the tentacles of Taylor Swift’s squad reach? Are detractors literally coerced into silence? What would be the consequences if Moretz revealed the inner workings of Swift’s assembly line of minions (from Gigi Hadid to Beck to Lisa Kudrow and beyond)?
