Chicken In A Biskit Could Be Coming Back to Aussie Supermarkets

Six-year-old me is screaming rn.
If you’re an Aussie kid of the '90s or 2000s, you’ve probably got fond memories of eating Vegemite sammies and Chicken In A Biskit snacks from your school lunchbox.
Unfortunately, after a short-lived time with these iconic bickies, Nabisco discontinued them in 2015 and Aussies have petitioned to bring them back ever since.
Now, after a reveal by internet personality Jimmy Rees (who we all know fondly as Jimmy Giggle), there is light at the end of the tunnel.
In an Instagram stories post, Jimmy kind of leaked the news by sharing a sneaky pic of the biscuit packaging covered by the hashtag #InABiskitComeBack and #ad. Without the #ad hashtag I’d be sceptical, but this is a biggie.

On top of the reveal, fans noticed that the pic of the packaging also includes a small “Special Edition” sticker, which could just essentially be the new packaging.
Basically, why would a new mock-up of the Dixie Drumstix packaging exist if they weren’t returning? Seems suss.
On top of this, according to KIIS FM early last week, some people also spotted a man in a giant, human-sized chicken suit holding a sign with the #InABiskitComeBack hashtag on it.
We’re not sure if In A Biskit are going for some wacky PR reveal, but it’s exciting nonetheless.

Plus, with the amount of crazed nostalgia that Aussies have on discontinued foods, plus the latest return of Tasty Toobs, it would be a pretty smart move to bring back the chicken bikkies again.
Fingers crossed the other iconic flavours also make a comeback. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the Big Cheese flavour—it’s top-tier.
