OMG, have you ever heard the phrase, "don't judge a book by its cover"?

Well, recently I walked into what looked like a ‘70s share-house in the middle of suburban Melbourne, but my mind was flipped when I succumbed to the coziness of the place: Samurai.

In each room, there were about three to four tables and a view. I was in a huge rush when I got there, so my friend asked for ‘15 minute’ food.

Boy was I amazed: a full plate of chicken katsu curry for $12 arrived in 10 minutes! (You can also get a two course meal and drink for $14, which is great for Uni students.)

When I sunk my teeth into this meal, there was no difference in taste or quality to any other good restaurant I have been to.

I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, for the food alone.

Food: 5/5

Ambience: 4/5

Service: 5/5

Overall: 5/5
