Celebrate World Doughnut Day (It’s a Thing) With Free Krispy Kreme This Friday

It’s a World Doughnut Day miracle!

How are you going to celebrate World Doughnut Day this year? Inviting friends over to decorate the doughnut tree? Cooking a meal of doughnut-stuffed turkey for the fam? Arranging a visit to your faith’s house of worship to sing songs of praise for doughnuts?

Well, cancel all those plans, because the doughnut-slingers at Krispy Kreme are offering free Original Glazed doughnuts to recognise World Doughnut Day on Friday 7 June.

They’re giving away 100,000 in total, though, it’s a limit of one per person, because this season is as much about learning the meaning of community and sharing as it is about scoffing doughnuts.

Here’s what you need to know.

The date: Friday 7 June 2019.

The type of free doughnut: Original Glazed.

The amount: 100,000 in total, until stock runs out. (One per person.)

The place: Krispy Kreme stores in NSW, VIC QLD and WA (as well as Jesters in WA), via front counter and drive through. The freebies are not available in SA, NT, 7-Eleven, BP Travel Centres or any other wholesale location.
