Cardi B Drops Her First ASMR Track If You're About That

Cardi B Drops Her First ASMR Track If You're About That

Cardi B is the new queen of ASMR.

Drop all your work this morning because rapping queen Cardi B has just dropped her very first ASMR interview with W Magazine and it's 14 minutes of nirvana you all desperately need to experience.

In the video, you can witness the "I Like It" singer whisper her catchphrase "okurrr" as well as generatre a range of ASMR sounds on some props that are handed to her.

ASMR, of course, stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and is essentially a physical reaction to certain sounds. That reaction is usually a sense of euphoria with a tingling sensation on the upper back and neck.

Sounds that cause this sort of feeling for ASMR individuals can include whispering, soft sounds associated with the mouth (like chewing and slurping) as well as sounds generated from mundane actions like crunching a plastic bag or fingers scratching a surface.

For some, it's the only way to relax before bed, but for others who don't experience the sensation, it's a downright unusual phenomenon to witness.

Cardi even mentions her husband, Offset (and one-third of Migos), finds her need to listen to ASMR every night "very strange and weird."

But, we don't have time for no ASMR-shamers because we think Bardi has found a perfect backup plan if her rapping career ever goes south.

Tingle at the full 14-minute experience below. *Whispers* Okurrr.
