Queen B has announced the big news on social media, sending the hive into complete and utter frenzy.

“We would like to share our love and happiness,” wrote the pop superstar. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”

In true Beyoncé fashion, the news came alongside a photo of the singer looking drop dead stunning. Fans were overjoyed to see their queen clad in lingerie against a backdrop of flowers, caressing her noticeable baby bump.

The news is now the top trending item on Twitter (obviously), gathering more than 500,000 tweets in the first hour. The. First. Hour.

No details around when the twins are due to be born, but if it’s anything like the birth of their first child, Blue Ivy, there’ll be a guaranteed paparazzi storm. When she was born, New York’s Lenox Hill hospital literally shut down part of its maternity wing to accommodate for Bey and her hubby, Jay Z.
