The Backstreet Boys Almost Played Trump’s Inauguration, But Not “Everybody” Was On Board

What would NSYNC do?

It’s fair to say President-elect Donald J. Trump’s has had a little trouble getting performers for his inauguration concerts, with the biggest names agreeing to put their name alongside his being Three Doors Down and America’s Got Talent contestant (and not winner) Jackie Evancho.

But when TMZ spotted the Backstreet Boys’ Brian Littrell recently, we got a glimpse of a beautiful alternate universe where Trump might have been serenaded with “Everybody” or “As Long As You Love Me”.

“To be honest with you, they asked me to ask the guys to sing,” Littrell revealed.

“It just didn’t work out. I would have been there if I could have. We’re starting rehearsals for our Vegas show.”

So, what he’s saying is he wanted it that way, but alas, he’s left with nothin’ but heartache.

Littrell also employed Hollywood to “chill out” and “give peace a chance,” noting his faith in Trump’s “character, his beliefs, and his balls.”
