How Do I Balance Study, Life and Work as a Mature Aged Student?

Work, life and study - it's a hard balancing act!

Balancing uni is a hard act.

And for mature age students it can be harder trying to balance your life, studying and working full-time. 

On this week's episode we spoke to Student Edge's very own Client Success Coordinator Jason on his experience getting his degree as a mature age student and how he balanced studying and a full-time job at the same time. 

 

Emma: For you, you went into uni already having a full-time job, so you have other priorities. And you said you were engaged? How did you still make the most of uni?

Jason: To be honest, I just prioritised the things that meant more and the things that were important. I feel like that's kinda more my learning and working style. 

Jason: Today's unis are so flexible - everything gets recorded. We live in a digital age which is great. But I think I just focused more on the things that mattered most: job, study, wife.
