Ariana Grande Almost Fell Over While Singing on Ellen, Is Still Winning the Break-Up

No, thank you Ariana.

Look, no one ever really wins a break-up.

It’s a heartbreaking ordeal for all parties, no matter how amicable the split, and in the case of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s cancelled nuptials, we can only offer our most sincere condolences.

With that out of the way: Ariana is definitely winning this break-up.

This week, Davidson had to endure getting ethered with kindness in Grande’s beautifully passive-aggressive kiss-off anthem "Thank U, Next", additional scrutiny over the many incredibly gross things he said during their brief relationship, and criticism for a joke he made at the expense of an eyeless American politician on SNL. (That last one doesn’t have anything to do with the fleeting rein of 'Pariana', but is evidence of his habitual self-owning.)

Grande, meanwhile, is living her best life, performing "Thank U, Next" on Ellen in a First Wives Club-inspired get-up. And even though she almost stumbled midway through the performance, she laughed it off because she is #authentic.

Watch the whole performance at EllenTube.

She also just dropped the music video for her Sweetener single "breathin'", which is chock-full of tasty—albeit abstract—Pete Davidson references.

We’re so good with that.
