Apple Is Introducing Colourful iMacs and We Defs Want One

Here's what else they revealed at their recent product launch event.
Last night, Apple held their 2021 Spring product launch event and revealed things are about to get a whole lot more vibrant, with a series of new devices and colours announced.
From the first major revamp to the iMac in nine years to a tag that will stop you losing your keys, let's take a look at all the new products that Apple announced in their spring event.

The all-new iMac.
Easily the biggest announcement is the new series of iMacs available in the colours blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange and purple.
It’s a throwback to Apple’s colourful iMac G3 and we love it. If you want your new computer to reflect your vibrant personality, this is the computer for you.
The computer is 11.5mm thin, which is insane, and the whole thing weighs less than 5kg.
For the tech heads, the new iMac has a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display, Apple’s new supercharged M1 chip, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality mics and a six-speaker sound system that they say will fill the room.
Big talk, but we reckon they can back it up.
Base models for the iMac will set you back $1,899.
iPad Pro.
Like the iMac, the iPad Pro is getting an upgrade with the tablet now said to be 50 per cent faster than the previous model thanks to the M1 chip.
Joining the M1 chip is a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display that in normal human words means the display will be out-of-this-world amazing with colour range, contrast, tone and other Apple-speak lingo.
In terms of price, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is selling from $1,649.

iPhone 12 in purple.
The iPhone 12 is now thinner, smaller and lighter, boasting to be “the world’s smallest, thinnest, lightest 5G phone.”
Not to mention it’s Apple’s best phone display ever with a Super Retina XDR OLED display (see previous explanation above).
Oh, and let’s not forget: the iPhone 12 now comes in purple.
The iPhone 12 Purple is available for pre-order from the 23 April and will cost $1,349.

AirTag.
One of the more interesting products Apple unveiled was the AirTag. This little fob is Apple’s answer to never losing your stuff again.
Just slip it in your wallet or attach it to your keys and track it down using the Find My app.
The AirTag is water-resistant, has a battery that lasts a year and can be personalised with initial engravings and cool looking accessories.
We don’t really need it, but we want it so bad.
Price wise you’re looking at $45 a pop for the AirTag.

Apple TV 4K.
Apple’s last product announced was the Apple TV 4K.
Packed with a new 4K high frame rate HDR, watching TV will be brighter, more realistic and full of colourful details you could only dream of apparently.
To cap that off they’ve designed a new remote to make it easier to navigate your favourite apps.
For the 32GB model, Apple are selling the Apple TV 4K for $249.
