Antoni from "Queer Eye" Can't Hear Your Hate Over His "Delish" Food

Leave Antoni alone.
If you've been watching the reboot of Queer Eye on Netflix, then you'll surely have picked up a few things. Firstly, the show randomly hits you with tear-jerking moments out of nowhere and secondly, is Antoni even a real chef?
The guy in charge of food, Antoni, while clearly having skills in being the most objectively beautiful man you've ever feasted your eyes on, is seemingly lacking in cooking skills (which is what the show actually hired him for, right?).

To give some context if you haven't gotten around to binge-watching it (and you should), some of the 'dishes' Antoni has served up include a grapefruit and avocado salad (containing precisely those two ingredients), a fancy cheese toastie and a guacamole recipe with yoghurt.
Yes, we're not the only ones suspicious of this gorgeous faux chef.

There's an entire episode of Queer Eye where Antoni's only food advice is which tupperware to buy from IKEA.

I just love the fact that the new #QueerEye is all about making over people from the inside out and their vulnerabilities and hopes and dreams but then Antoni is just like ok hold on to your butts have you heard of grilled cheese

But even Antoni himself has caught on.

Despite having a bit of a laugh a week ago, it's since become clear that he ain't bothered with the basic haters.
In fact, he explained to EW that he actually did have proper recipes prepared, and even filmed, but that they didn't make the cut.
"Just for the record, I did make several components for each of these guys but a lot of it doesn’t make it to the edit," Antoni admitted to EW.
"I want people to know that it’s not about me coming in and teaching Cory how to master molecular gastronomy in a span of four days because I don’t think anybody would be capable of doing that."
"It’s about me showing up and figuring out how he can better serve his family, which he clearly wanted to do, and I think we achieved that."
Don't worry Antoni, we'd eat your yoghurt-infused guacamole any day.
