After Two Seasons, Antoni's Cooking Skills In "Queer Eye" Are Still Questionable

Queer Eye's prettiest man, Antoni, still hasn't convinced us he can cook.

It was pointed out in the first season of Queer Eye that Antoni, the man in charge of all-things-food, wasn't so great at doing food.

Despite his Wikipedia page clearly stating that one of his skills is 'chef', his meals on the show mostly just consisted of avocado and grilled toasties.

Basically, we're not actually sure what makes Antoni a better chef than your nonna or school lunch lady.

As for the other Queer Eye guys, Bobby's skill in design is unquestionable, no one's doubting Jonathan can groom a tumbleweed into a work of art, Tan would win 'Best Dressed Employee' every month, and Karamo is very positive (I guess, that's his entire role, right?), but Antoni...

On Friday, Netflix dropped the latest season of Queer Eye, in which Antoni watches someone else cook and then makes pasta, an omelette and a salad. He also tries his hand at some more specific cuisine, like Persian and Hawaiian, but again, some have argued that he simplifies the flavours to smithereens.

Watchers definitely noticed that even after the criticisms of his failing food alchemy in the first season, his game hasn't lifted.

However, maybe Antoni's questionable cooking skills aren't the most important thing at the end of the day.

They do have a good point.
