Android Phones Now Let You Cast "Harry Potter" Spells So You Can Pretend To Be A Real Wizard

Android one-ups Apple by partnering with Google to let phone users cast magical spells (kinda).
The new feature has been unveiled as part of a promotion for new film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a new Harry Potter spin-off in cinemas soon.
Before you get upset because of the misleading title, it's not actual magic, okay?
Android users (and wannabe wizards) just need to say the words: "OKAY Google" followed by one of three words.
If you want to turn your phone's torch on and off, say "Lumos" and "Nox".
Want to turn your phone to silent? The magic word is "Silencio".
Maybe it's just voice recognition software and not real magic. Shh, we can just pretend.

President of worldwide marketing for Warner Bros. Blair Rich said, "When we had Harry Potter, none of this technology existed."
"So to be able to creatively interpret this world through technology and allow people this very unusual kind of interaction with it, is really a marketing plus."

Is iPhone better than Android?

Well, can iPhone users use Harry Potter spells to control their phone? No, no they can't.
You can try yelling spells at your iPhone as much as you want, but sadly, it won't work.
