All Your Favourite Celebrities Are Now Making "Hotline Bling" Memes

This is your daily reminder that “Hotline Bling” memes are still a thing.

W Magazine has done the Lord’s work by corralling Bryan Cranston, Kristen Wiig, Amy Schumer, Elizabeth Banks, Seth Rogen, Joel Edgerton, Saoirse Ronan, Brie Larson, Rooney Mara, Paul Dano, Greta Gerwig, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Maika Monroe, forcing them to recite the lyrics to Drake’s unkillable 2015 hit.

Some – like Larson (a former pop star, never forget) – attempt a straight cover, but Schumer, Wiig and particularly Cranston bring some gravitas with a dramatic reading of such lyrics as: “That can only mean one thing.”

Banks, in contrast, goes full beat poet on Drizzy’s lyrics. Mara, on the other hand, looks as if this is her first interaction with popular music, and we love her for it.
