Run Don’t Walk to the Shops: A Crispy M&Ms Chocolate Spread Exists

It was revealed by Australian author Zoё Foster Blake on Instagram.

Move over Nutella and Biscoff spread, there’s a new toast topper in town, and it’s sure to cure that lockdown sadness that half the country is feeling rn.

M&Ms have joined the sweet spread championship with their take on a chocolate spread full of crispy M&M pieces. Drool.

Okay, technically this product isn’t new ‘cos it was released back in late 2019—but it is new to Aussies, ‘cos it’s not usually available down under.

Foster Blake spilled the M&Ms about the product on her Insta story on Monday night, absolutely frothing about how illegally delicious it is.

“I should not have brought this because now it’s in our house. Where our mouths are,” she wrote in the story.

“What has become of me. This is not food.”

The reason this jar of heaven is news to us Aussies is ‘cos you can’t just get it from your local Coles. It’s technically only available overseas and in specialty stores around the country, I’d check ya local American lolly shop first.

Unfortunately, most online Aussie retailers that claim to have the product have sold out (cry) but there does seem to be some stock available on Amazon Australia.

The downside? It’ll cost you an arm and a leg at $34 freakin’ dollars for just 350 grams (yikes).

So, if you’re keen to sell your soul for a chocolate toast spread, you can do that right here. Idk about you, but I might just mix some M&Ms into a jar of Nutella for the time being.

On top of this, there also appears to be a peanut butter version floating around online. Yep, peanut M&Ms combined with crunchy M&Ms, bits of milk chocolate and real peanuts in peanut butter. Lord have mercy.
