Win a double pass to see Anne Edmonds & Damien Power @Fringe World Competition

Anne Edmonds returns to the Perth Fringe with a brand new hour of stand up in ‘That’s Eddotainment!’ Having burst onto the comedy scene in 2010 as a national finalist in Raw Comedy, Anne went on to be nominated for Best Emerging Comedy Talent at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. She has since performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival where in 2015 she was the Winner of the prestigious Comic’s Choice award. You would have seen her on the telly on ABC TV’s ‘Dirty Laundry Live’ and ‘It’s A Date’. It’s easy to see why Anne is touted as one of the most exciting new stand up comedians on the Australian comedy scene today.

A banjo, a jig, a lady claiming to be a pig – That’s Eddotainment!

Damien Power makes his Perth Fringe debut following what can only be described as a massive 2015. He was nominated for the prestigious Barry Award (Best Show Melbourne Comedy Festival) for his third solo show ‘I Can’t Believe I Cared’ and audiences and industry insiders alike are calling him the next big thing in Australian Comedy. In ‘Sell Mum into Slavery’ Damien asks big questions about the world and ponders the answers in a thought provoking and assured style that impresses and entertains the hell out of you. He has received critical acclaim for drawing comedy from being a parent to science and cosmology. His comedy has been described as existential and philosophical at times but most importantly hilarious.
