Your Boy Drake Just Announced an Australian Tour (and It’s Happening This Year)

With apologies to the West Coast.
The Kid is coming back to Australia, trading in a “Passionfruit” for a big pineapple.

Following a series of awkwardly photoshopped teases from Universal Music Australia, Drake has announced a very sudden Australia and New Zealand tour, going down (checks watch) literally two months from now.
(We pray he brings his dad as an opening act.)
He’s starting near the bottom (Sydney) and then slowly moving up the East Coast (to Brisbane), before heading back down (to Melbourne).
The Aus/NZ tour officially kicks off in Auckland on Friday, November 3. After that, Drake will play two shows at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, on Tuesday, November 7 and Wednesday, November 8.
Brisbane can look forward to Drizzy’s arrival on Friday, November 10 at the Entertainment Centre.
The tour ends at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, where Drake will again play two shows on Saturday, November 18 and Monday, November 20.
Frontier Members can buy their tickets during the pre-sale beginning Tuesday, September 12 and ending Thursday, September 14. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 15.
There’s a mighty big gap between his Brisbane and Melbourne dates, so perhaps he’ll squeeze in Perth and Adelaide shows too. Or, maybe he just wants to spend some additional time sight-seeing.
We know he loves his views.
Either way, Drake is about to spend at least two weeks in Australia this November. Everyone help clean the place up for him!
