You Can Get 25% Off Groceries at Select Woolworths Stores This September

Stock up on avocados now!

You don’t need to be a maths whiz to know that "25 per cent off" is a decent chunk of savings.

Well, Woolworths is offering that exact discount to customers for the month of September, provided you use their Scan&Go app at select stores around the country.

The Scan&Go app allows customers to browse through Woolies and scan items on your phone as you shop. Then, you pay via the app and simply walk out the store (after scanning your dedicated QR code at Scan&Go checkouts). It's called the future, ever heard of it?

Unfortunately, Scan&Go is only currently available at six locations in Sydney: Double Bay, Mona Vale, George St, Pitt Street, Margaret Street and York Street.

Nonetheless, if those stores are nearby, you can visit them and get 25 per cent off your shop by using the Scan&Go app between 4 September and 30 September 2019.

Of course, there are terms and conditions to be aware of. It’s 25 per cent off up to a limit of $1,000 per shop, only at Scan&Go-equipped stores and only via the Scan&Go app. Plus, the offer doesn’t apply to smoking and tobacco products, liquor, gift cards (including iTunes), mobile recharge, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards, intervention items, donations, Carpet Care, Pre-order Kiosks or purchases on a charge account.

You'll also need to enable Bluetooth and location services on your device, so Woolworths can conduct tests on the app (this trial appears to be the main reason behind the promotion). You'll also need to be a Woolworths Rewards loyalty member.

But if you meet all of the above and have a standard grocery shop to do, you can pretty much chop a quarter off the final tally by following those steps.

Also, we’ll just leave this here: Save 5% off Woolworths WISH eGift Cards with Student Edge.
