Would You Want to Spend Two Hours Upside Down on a Rollercoaster? These 60 People Had No Choice

Here’s a story that is just your worst nightmare brought to life.

Yesterday, at Universal Studios in Osaka, patrons were stuck in a stalled rollercoaster for two hours while rescue services attempted to free them, the Japan Times reports.

But, it wasn’t your regular kind-of rollercoaster. It was the Jurassic Park-themed "Flying Dinosaur" ride, during which riders lie prone, secured with their back to the seats.

Here’s what it looks like when it’s working.

Thankfully, none of the 60 passengers endured any injuries. They were each escorted from their stuck carriages, which halted 20m to 30m above ground, via an aisle along the side of the coaster.

The "Flying Dinosaur" resumed operations later in the day, and yes, there was already a line of people waiting to board.

No word on what the vomit-line leading up to the bathrooms looked like.
