When Will “Cyberpunk 2077” Unlock in Australia?

Get your hands on it ASAP.

After all the delays, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally set to land on our consoles on 10 December.

Postponing the game's release was thanks to COVID, of course, and the delay has even impacted the release of some other games.

So, this is one that a lot of gamers have been hanging out for.

We’re now less than a week away from the game's release and—to get everyone hyped up—the game developers CD Projekt RED have released some important info on how to get it nice and early.

In a tweet, the Cyberpunk 2077 developers announced the game's unlock time on each platform and for each county around the world.

So, to make sure we’ve got you covered, here are all the unlock times for Cyberpunk 2077 in Australia.

First off, it’s important to keep in mind that these unlock times are for digital copies of the game. It is likely that physical copies will be available in retailers before some of these times or days, especially since JB Hi-Fi has had an abundance of empty cases on display for months now.

For PC and Stadia, the game will become available from 11am AEST on Thursday 10 December, but considering the game is a whopping 70gb, developers are allowing players to pre-download the game from 10pm Monday 7 December (woohoo!).

On console, the game will be set free at midnight local time. So, regardless of whether you’re in Sydney or Perth, you can catch it in the middle of the night on 10 December.

Again, because the game is a big boi, the developers have also allowed console players to pre-download it. Xbox players can do that from now, however, PS4 and PS5 users will have to wait until Tuesday 8 December.

As for the rest of the world, you can check out Cyberpunk 2077’s tweet if you want to know about the unlock times for other countries.
