We Zoomed Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Director Castille Landon to Talk “After We Fell”

We skipped the burrito chit chat this time.

Calling all After fans: the third instalment of the young-adult, romantic drama series is just around the corner, so if you’re just as excited as we are, we’ve got the goods.

After We Fell follows Tessa Young starting an exciting new chapter of her life post-college, but as she prepares to move to Seattle for her dream job, Hardin Scott’s jealousy and unpredictable behaviour reach a nasty point and threatens to end their intense relationship.

The couple’s situation becomes more complicated when Tessa’s father returns and shocking revelations about Hardin’s family come to light. Ultimately, Tessa and Hardin must decide if their love is worth fighting for or if it’s time to go their separate ways.

Student Edge Editor and Content Producer Caitlin Paroczai caught up with Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes for the second time to talk about the growth of Tessa and Hardin’s characters, and what it was like to be part of the third film.

Check out their chat below.

Caitlin also got chatting with the After We Fell Director Castille Landon to chat about the amazing fandom and what it was like to take on the series.

You can see the full interview below.

If you need a bit of catching up, After We Fell is Adapted from Anna Todd's series of the same name, the first film, After, was released back in 2019 and starred Josephine as Tessa and Hero as the mysterious Hardin.

After originally started off as a fan-fiction on Wattpad, with Todd's writing of the novel inspired by none other than One Direction's Harry Styles. Now, the five-book series has been published in 29 countries and read over a billion times.

The story follows Tessa, a dedicated student and loyal girlfriend who is entering her first semester of college. However, her world opens up when she meets Hardin, who makes her question what she really wants out of life.

In the second film, After We Collided explores Tessa and Hardin struggling to maintain their complicated relationship while Tessa faces Trevor Matthews, played by Dylan Sprouse, a co-worker of hers who has feelings for her.

P.S. We also caught up with the cast for After We Collided back when it was released in 2020, so you should go watch that vid too if you haven’t yet!
