We Asked Uni Students What It Means To Be A Lifeblood Champion

Who’s got what it takes?
This article is presented in partnership with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood.
To gain champion status is no easy feat – you’ve got to be at the top of your game and people have to recognise it.

There are a number of different roads you can take to get to champion-ville, but luckily, Lifeblood’s got a great one.
By rallying your mates, classmates, colleagues and communities to donate blood as a team, you’ll automatically become a Lifeblood Champion, and you’ll be saving lives.
We headed down to a local uni to ask students what it truly means to be a champion – and found out if they had what it takes to be a blood donation champion.

Answers ranged from the qualities of a champion, what they do day-to-day and what they act like – but for everyone we asked – helping others was central to champion-ism.
Becoming a Lifeblood Champion is easy – all you need to do is sign up and create your team.

The team at Lifeblood are there to help you along every step of the way, from sharing your team with mates to showcasing the awesome work you’re doing.
