Watch An Adorable Pup Battle Hiccups

We all have our tricks for battling an unwanted case of hiccups.

Some guzzle water. Some ask to be scared. Some block their ears (though extensive experimentation by the Student Edge team has proven this only works before your fourth hiccup, so move quickly).

However, dogs don’t have the ability to Google potential cures for hiccups, nor do they have the emotional tools to understand what they are or to cope with a sudden bout of them.

Case in point: Buck the blue heeler pup. YouTuber Matthew Kennelly uploaded the following video of his adorable dog discovering hiccups, fearing the hiccups… and then doing battle with the hiccups.

We're rooting for him, even though us humans know fighting hiccups is as fruitless as missions get.
