This Guy Got to Intern for Chance The Rapper And It's Kinda Inspirational

For Hospey (real name: Negele Hospedales), his dream came true when he got to intern for his favourite rapper. 

Way back in March, Chance The Rapper put the call out on Twitter for an intern.

After seeing the call out, Hospey got to work on building his 'resume', which ended up being a whole freakin' website. True commitment.

His application went viral and Chance got in contact with him that day. He joined the tour within a week of launching the website. Miracles do happen. 

Hospey explained to Pigeons and Planes that he did a bit of everything which is familiar to anyone who has interned before.

"I was responsible for generating fresh ideas in general and formatting them for possible implementation. And then exactly, a little bit of whatever was needed of me at the time," he said to Pigeons and Planes.

He said that while the roles for the internship weren't exactly groundbreaking, it was the experience and the connections he made that truly mattered.

"Overall, I would say the experience was much harder but far more rewarding than I could’ve ever imagined," he said.

"As cliché as it is, clearly, the first thing that comes to mind is really how much is made possible by just chasing your goals and doing what you love."

"By simply participating, creating content for others to consume, some crazy things happen."
