This Grumpy Wombat Was Exactly Your Mood This Morning

Check out that wombat's ferocious strut.
Some of us don't do mornings very well. It's in our DNA to be creatures of the night and sloths in the morning. Wombats, too, are nocturnal so as soon dawn hits, they snooze off until dusk returns again.
But, for one wombat in suburban Canberra, that wasn't the case and it made sure that everyone who came near it, knew about it.
Just a wombat, going for a walk down the streets of #Canberra #Belconnen #Australia @RSPCA @canberratimes @2CC @abccanberra (I’ve called #Wildlife rescue, they know about him and say he’s covering a lot of ground!) pic.twitter.com/Uh9fc1S83E

A resident encountered the wombat in the early morning in Belconnen, a suburb of Canberra, which is not particularly known for its abundant wildlife. As the wombat strutted along the footpath, he gave stern warnings by growling at the resident who was filming it.
It was a very obvious "back it up, human". A very relatable gesture to all of us who don't do mornings very well.
Clearly hadn't had her coffee yet

So, just remember if you struggled to get yourself together this morning, there's always someone out there doing a little bit worse.
