The Internet Met The New Pokémon And Was Merciless Towards Them

Everyone’s pretty excited for Nintendo’s next gen Pokémon pack, Sun and Moon.

The game company attempted to sate fan anticipation this morning by sharing the three new starter Pokémon that will come with Sun and Moon when it arrives on the 3DS on November 18.

There’s Litten (like a cat) and Rowlet (umm, a ball?) and then... there’s Popplio (a sea lion of sorts).

Now, if you only have a passing interest in the Pokémon games, you’re probably thinking, “Yes, these look like Pokemon.”

True fans, however, are weirdly enraged by them, sharing their collective fury on social media (the home of collected fury).

Rowlet got off easiest:
