Taylor Swift Makes Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women List

They've got a blank space baby, and they'll write Taylor's name.

Forbes has revealed its annual list of the world’s most powerful women, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel nabbing the top spot for the fifth consecutive year.

However, if Hilary Clinton makes her way into the Oval Office in the near future, Angela Merkel could find herself unseated.

As it stands, Presidential candidate and former First Lady Hilary Clinton must make do with second place.

Melinda Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, US Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen and General Motors CEO Mary Barra round out the top five for 2015.

The current US First Lady, Michelle Obama, is number 10 on the chart.

Australia’s own Gina Rinehart can be found at 37.

Taylor Swift is a new entry to the Top 100 with her placement at 64. The 25-year-old singer is the youngest woman on the list.

The only other pop stars to make the list were Beyonce (21) and Shakira (81). This is another devastating loss for Tay-Tay’s frenemy Katy Perry.
