Tame Impala's Nightmarish "Let It Happen" Music Video Features A Singing Sandwich

Tame Impala have finally released a video to accompany “Let It Happen”, their lengthy, disco-freak masterpiece from the hit album Currents.

Sadly, at four minutes and 16 seconds, the clip jettisons more than a third of the otherwise seven minute and 46 second track.

The clip however, evoking Michel Gondry’s legendary “Let Forever Be” music video, is still plenty compelling; all about a businessman freaking out as he rushes to catch a plane, only to fall into an existential nightmare, complete with singing sandwiches.

All is forgiven, Tame Impala.

(The director is David Wilson btw; the dude responsible for the Arctic Monkeys’ inventive “Do I Wanna Know” video.)

If you want a few extra minutes of Tame Impala goodness – given that they cruelly stole it from us in the above clip – listen to Haim singing “’Cause I’m A Man” (also from Currents).

What an album.
