Student Goes "Mission: Impossible" to Steal Exams From Academic's Office, But Fails Miserably

Two undergraduate students at the University of Kentucky in the U.S. have been charged with burglary for attempting to steal an exam via the building's air ducts.
The two friends, Henry Lynch II and Troy Kiphuth, were caught red-handed when their statistics instructor, John Cain, attempted to return to his office, only to find the door blocked at 1.30am.

According to the Lexington Herald Leader, Cain yelled out to the students that he was going to call the police. The door then swung open and the two students bolted.
It is alleged that the mastermind, Lynch, had successfully pulled off the entry-via-air-duct manoeuvre once before with a previous exam.
He had gained access to the building’s air duct system, and somehow navigated his way to Cain’s office, dropping down from the ceiling to find the answer sheet.

The New York Times heard from a spokesperson of the university who explained that "cheating and theft of this kind is very serious in an academic institution."
"It’s an unusual set of circumstances," the spokesperson continued. "It also underscores how late our faculty work."
It’s almost definitely the coolest way anyone has ever attempted the pretty scummy move of cheating.
Regardless, even if you are desperate to get your hands on your upcoming exam’s answer sheet and you do have the moves to pull it off, cheating can leave you with an actual criminal charge.
