Student Edge to Sponsor the 2019 Revelation Film Festival, Featuring the Mind-Bending XR:WA

Student Edge is proud to announce it will be a Gold Sponsor of the 2019 Revelation Perth International Film Festival.

For more than 20 years, Revelation has brought some of the most interesting, challenging and downright indescribable movies of the last few decades to Perth, Western Australia.

However, Rev has also blazed a trail and expanded its reach beyond the theatre, launching a streaming service of cult classic Australian and international films, hosting industry conferences for aspiring filmmakers and critics, and even supporting younger viewers with free family features.

Here at Student Edge, we love our movies, so we’re eager to support an organisation that’s working to expand Aussie film culture, especially one that connects young people to local and international cinema. There may be no better way to understand the lives of others than by stepping into their shoes and watching their pictures, and we’re excited to share that with our million-plus members.

In 2019, Revelation will take that to the next level with XR:WA, an immersive virtual and augmented reality experience that will allow participants to see the latest innovative technologies in action.

From July 6 to 14, XR:WA will showcase wild films and interactive exhibits, the likes of which have never been seen before, in Perth or anywhere in Australia.
