Someone 'Accidentally' Streamed Early Gameplay of "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" on Twitch

Activision is scrubbing the internet rn.

Two months out from its planned release, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was unexpectedly streamed to thousands of Twitch viewers over the weekend.

DougIsRaw was one of the streamers given early access to the alpha of Treyarch’s '80s sequel, but instead of keeping the game's details to himself, he streamed several minutes of a multiplayer escort mission, set in Miami, to his excited followers.

Of course, Activision stepped in and took the footage down real quick but not before someone else had the chance to capture it for the rest of the internet to get their hands on.

If you get in quick you may just be able to sneak a peak:

Details of the game are set to be announced next week but based off the leaked footage, it is hard to tell how the game differs from its predecessors.

Thanks to the leaked footage, fans got as glimpse of the new weapons, HUD, black ops perks and the game mode.

A sequel to the original Black Ops game, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, leaves players in the thick of the Cold War where they will come face to face with history to untangle and prevent a terrorist plot.

Much alike the previous Call of Duty games, the newest installment will be a first-person action game set in realistic, complex settings featuring cinematic cut scenes within the gameplay and intense combat.

The game will also see the return of the franchise's ever popular zombies and the introduction of cross-platform multiplayer gaming.

Secrets about the multiplayer features will be announced during the Cold War livestream on September 9 along with other highly anticipated details about the game.

The final release of the game is planned for November 13 although if the leaked footage has you impatient, players who pre-order will get access to an open beta and if you order the PS4 version you will get even earlier access.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
