Snapchat To Sell Sunglasses With Inbuilt Cameras

Snapchat will be releasing a new product called "Spectacles" which are, essentially, sunglasses that can take photos.
The company has also decided to rename itself as Snap Inc. to reflect an expansion into consumer hardware.
There's a new website up and running with more details about the new product. "We've created one of the smallest wireless video cameras in the world," a post says, "capable of taking a day's worth of Snaps on a single charge, and we integrated it seamlessly into a fun pair of sunglasses."
Snapchat is totally changing the game with these spectacles to snap instead of a phone! ⚡️😎⚡️😎 pic.twitter.com/YvCEBXOufJ

The product is being marketed as a way for you to preserve snapshots of memories, all while remaining present and not having to get your phone out every three seconds. Spectacles are expected to work in tandem with their recently launched Memories feature, which lets you post old and edited content to your story.
Maybe you're that person who's constantly being told off for being on your phone all the time while you're out with friends and family.
I suppose Spectacles would make it all the more easy to stay social media addicted, just minus the phone?
