Simon Cowell Crowns The "Next Taylor Swift", Putting Tay Tay's Squad On High Alert

Watch the throne.

One Direction Svengali Simon Cowell knows a potential superstar when he sees one, which is why you should take him very seriously when he dubs someone the “next Taylor Swift”.

(That or he wants to add a bit of legitimacy and buzz to his stint on America’s Got Talent.)

Such a designation was passed along to 12-year-old Grace VanderWaal, who impressed the audience with her original song and ukulele skills.

Check out her tune and see if the Taylor Swift comparison – beyond the hairdo – holds.

Meanwhile, Swift’s Squad awaits orders from their leader as to what actions might need to be taken against VanderWaal. Remember Grace, when you come at the queen, you best not miss.
