Shapes Will Be Offering Barbecue Flavour Sachets For This Weekend Only

Shake it till you make it.

We all know the feeling.

You’ve exhausted the last of your barbecue shapes, and you’re staring at the leftover flavouring in the bottom of the box.

It’s like a post-snack snack.

Well, for this weekend only, Shapes will be giving out barbecue flavour sachets with select orders from Deliveroo.

These sachets can take any meal to the next level.

On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 August, any order from a participating restaurant on Deliveroo in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, SA and WA will get five sachets, with 50,000 in total up for grabs.

100 restaurants across the country are taking part but be quick – only the first fifty orders over $10 will receive the free flavour booster.

“Enjoying the seasoning at the bottom of the Shapes box is a ritual for Aussies, so we can’t wait to see what unique food pairings are brought to life as we surprise and delight our customers with Barbeque Shapes inspired Flavour Sachets on select orders this weekend,” Deliveroo Commercial Director Jodi Ingham said.

Shapes and Deliveroo did some research, and 42 per cent of Aussies said they would use their flavouring on hot chips, with others saying they’d use it for meat, roast veggies, dip or flavouring sauces and gravies.

Eight per cent of people said they’d use theirs on ice cream, which we thought was wild.
