The Future Is Here: Sending Lemonade Through The Internet Is Now Possible

Scientists at the National University of Singapore have discovered a way to transmit the look and taste of lemonade via the internet.
According to New Scientist, it works using three main functions: a lemonade sensor, a communication protocol and a customised jug. The sender has a sensory device which measures a fresh glass of lemonade for pH levels and colour which is then transmitted to the receiver's customised jug via the internet. The jug translates this data, adjusts the levels for flavour and the LED lights in the jug replicate the colour of lemonade.
The creator calls this Taste Over IP. Lead researcher, Nimesha Ranasinghe, explains that this idea came about when browsing social media.
“People are always posting pictures of drinks on social media—what if you could upload the taste as well? That’s the ultimate goal,” Ranasinghe explained.
Sure, why not?

Looks expensive. Will it cost more than $20? If so, then at the moment, I can't afford it yet.
