Talk About A Viral Video: "Rings" Trailer Is Here To Make You Sick With Terror

VHS tapes may have gone the way of the dodo, but something that’ll never die is exploitable horror IP Samara.

The trailer for Rings has arrived, and with it, the opportunity for a whole new generation to develop technophobia.

This sequel to The Ring and The Ring 2 (both inspired by the Japanese horror classic Ringu) sees the iconic video of the original – wherein the creepy-crawly Samara resides - shared over the web.

Eventually, some young’uns happen upon the clip, which, as you already know, kills people seven days after they watch it. So, good luck with that.

Director F. Javier Gutierrez has definitely amped up the gore and gunk with his reboot. You can see if it lives up to its predecessors when it hits Australian cinemas November 24.
