The 29th of February comes but once every four years, and Red Rooster is celebrating by letting you take home a free regular chips this Saturday.

If you don’t believe us, and are concerned this is just an elaborate prank to drive Red Rooster broke, take it from this official Facebook post. See? Why would they punk themselves?

So there you have it. If you want to score your free serve, simply rock up to a Red Rooster store on Saturday 29 February and ask for a regular chips, and you can walk away with a box of fried, salty goodness at zero cost.

Of course, it’s a limit of one regular chips per person, and you can’t redeem this at stadiums.

Still, it’s a Leap Day miracle!
