"Red Dead Redemption 2" Is Definitely Happening, and Here’s Some Gameplay Footage to Prove It

The rollout of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been long, painful and beset by delays.

But it looks like Rockstar Games really will deliver on their promise of a sequel to their nearly decade-old classic, thanks to mouth-watering new gameplay footage of RDR2.

In a lengthy, just released trailer, you can see how, exactly, you’ll "live, ride and fight to survive as an outlaw in a notorious gang".

It also demonstrates the gameplay, characters and open world environment. The teaser is even placidly narrated by a woman, who calmly informs us that we can now "intimidate a witness into silence". Cool?

However, you’ll still have to wait until 26 October to play it yourself, after missing its earlier release date of March (as in, several months ago).
